CAF Women’s Player of the Year: Nnadozie, Banda, Chawinga Sisters Make Top 5 Shortlist

Super Falcons’ Chiamaka Nnadozie, Zambia’s Barbra Banda, Morocco’s Sanaâ Mssoudy and Malawi sisters, Tabitha and Temwa Chawinga are the five top nominees for the 2024 CAF Women’s Player of the Year.

Nnadozie’s teammate, Asisat Oshoala, won the 2023 CAF Women’s Player of the Year.

This year’s CAF award ceremony will hold on December 16 in Marrakech, Morocco.

The CAF Goalkeeper of the Year category includes five exceptional shot-stoppers while the Interclub Player of the Year category highlights five standout performers who shone during continental competitions.

Other categories include the CAF Young Player of the Year category featuring top nominees, and Women’s Coach of the Year.

The awards also recognize the contributions of national teams and clubs.
