The first edition of the Omniverse Summit, an event that brings together technology enthusiasts, investors, funders, academia, industry leaders, creatives, innovators, public policy and development sector leaders in one physical space, has been scheduled for February 27 – March 1 at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos.
According to the organisers, the summit is designed to explore the latest advancements, trends, and opportunities across various sectors of the tech-enabled industries and collaboration across the digital economy in Africa.
“We think that everyone that “matters” in this space would be there and you should too,” it noted in a statement.
The summit will feature different stakeholder sessions, including a day that will explore narratives about Africa and Africans, examine their impact on our economies, societies and geopolitics. It will also discuss how to regain control over these narratives to chart a sustainable pathway for the continent’s future.
